We at John Emmons TaeKwonDo have several level of instructors:

• Master Instructor
• Sr.Certified Instructor
• Jr.Certified Instructor
• Certified instructor
• Trainee Instructor
• Storm team

The instructor program starts with the Storm members. These students must be at least at the rank of Brown Belt and be 8 years old. Storm members help out in class by holding hand targets or filling in around the school when needed.

The next levels of instructor is Trainee (8 to 17 years old), and Certified instructor(18 years old or older).

These students must be 1st degree black belt and must test for this position. Students must test on all forms and "one-steps "below the students rank. This is the first step into becoming a Sr. or Jr. Certified Instructor.

Once the student has become a Trainee or Certified instructor he or she has entered the Instructor Program. This program is a 24 month program where the student will be taught to be a instructor by the Sr. Certified and Master Instructor. Over the next 2 years the student will have to complete an extremely comprehensive program and a physically demanding testing at the end of the 2 year program.
