Welcome to John Emmons' Taekwondo Academy

I was a firefighter/EMT and Police officer in our community and have over 20 years training in these fields. I have been trained and certified in several forms of self-defense as well as being a Defensive Tactical Instructor and T.E.A.M. Instructor. I am also certified  and  trained in ASP baton, pepper spray, stun gun and other forms of self-defense.

My martial Arts training includes over 25 years in TaeKwonDo, 10 years in Weeping Style Jujutsu, 8 years in Brazilian Jujutsu and currently training for about one year in Hapkido. I continue my training in Taekwondo, and cross train in other arts.

John Emmons TaeKwonDo has been providing the best in TaeKwonDo Training in Kissimmee and St.Cloud since Nov. 1990. We are rated in the Top 10 TaeKwonDo Schools in the country and have been so for the last 15 years. We are the oldestt and largest Martial Arts school in Osceola county and offer class 6 days per week. We have programs for kids 3 years of age and up as well as great adult programs and fitness programs.

What we don't offer are "gimmicks or tricks" on memberships, special programs, Master programs, or Black Belt programs designed to step you up into paying more money for longer contract times. We offer several types of memberships from "pay as you train" (Month-to-month), to a 36 month membership. Our dues are affordable and our terms are easy to understand. Most importantantly you and I  will shake hands on your program you choose.
